Our 2025 show will take place at Chelmsford Theatre between Wednesday 30th April and Saturday 3rd May
It’s almost time to meet our 2025 Gang! On Sunday 13th October 2024, we’ll be holding our first session for new and existing members of the Gang to come along and see what we’re all about.
Our show is open to members of Scouts or Guides in Chelmsford, aged 10½ to 24 (as of the end of April 2025). No experience is needed, just enthusiasm, a smile and a willness to learn! Our show will be packed full of song, dance and comedy so it’s a great opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills.
Our first session will take place between 12:15pm and 3:45pm on Sunday 13th October at Moulsham High School. There will be a short parents meeting at 3:30pm which we ask that all parents/guardians attend.
After our first session, we’ll rehearse most Sundays between 1:45pm and 5pm (location to be confirmed) and we do ask that our Gang commit to attending as many rehearsals as possible. We understand that as active Scouters or Guiders, other events may come up but we expect all members of the cast to attend every rehearsal from February onwards. If people do miss several rehearsals, we may have to give some of their parts to other people Anyone joining our show must be an active member of Scouting or Guiding and remain so until the end of the show week.
To be part of our Gang, we ask for £50 per member. As well as contributing to the cost of your costumes, this also means you’ll receive a show t-shirt and access to our professional photographs of the show. This payment will be due by the end of October and can be paid by cash, card or cheque at rehearsals. If paying might cause you some difficulty, please have a confidential chat with any member of the team who will see what options we have to help; we don’t want anyone’s financial situation to stop them joining our show.
